The drain pump is near the bottom of the machine and it s in a translucent housing so you should be able to see if a sock or some other item is lodged in it.

The drain hose is usually gray or black while the water hoses are either red or blue.

You will need a screwdriver or a slide lock wrench to open the clasp that holds the hose to the pump depending on what type of clasp it is.

The drain hose is normally located on the back of the washing machine next to or in between the hoses for the hot and cold water.
Since the drain pump has a translucent cover the clog should be visible.
